How's about you not, and learn how to post a link to this thread? Just like the Activator I made, I can disable the tool so that it wont work. Not working?

Make sure that you have UAC off, firewall off, you are connected to the internet, and that you are NOT using an evaluation version of Windows, you have NEVER used a hacktivator (Those things that call themselves permanent activators), and that the iso you used to install is a non-modified iso.

Alright, for everyone getting the Notification mode popup/KMS failure let's try some troubleshooting. This is not caused by the activator, it is caused by either

a. Windows 8's messed up permissions
b. a bad install
c. modified iso
d. Hactivator
e. another tool
f. yourself
g. something else

Try each of them, it may take all of them to work. Do them one at a time, and try to activate after each method attempt. DO THEM IN ORDER. DO NOT DO METHOD #1 AFTER YOU DO THE OTHERS OR IT WILL COMPLETELY UNDO EVERYTHING YOU JUST DID.

Method #1:

1. Win + W, Type in Refresh, press enter

2. Refresh your PC

Method #2:

1. Go to your Windows folder and take ownership of System32 and all of its contents. For an easy way to do this download and install this: http://www.howtogeek...-menu-in-vista/

2. Right-click the System32 folder > Properties > Security > Edit > Set the permissions for every group/username to Full Control. Press OK.

3. Go back to the General Tab, Uncheck Read-Only, press OK.

4. Try the activator again.

Method #3:

1. Win + W > Type in Services, Press Enter

2. Locate Plug and Play, Right Click > Properties

3. Set the Startup type to Automatic and press Start if it is not started.

Method #4:

1. Win + R > Type Gpedit.msc and press enter

2. Computer Configuration > Policies/Administrative Templates > System > Remote Procedure Call > Double Click Restrictions for/Restrict Unauthenticated RPC clients

3. Click Enabled then change RPC Runtime Un... to Authenticated without exceptions.

4. Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options > Double Click Network access: Named Pipes that can be accessed anonymously

5. Enter this into the textbox
 
 
 
 

Member server setting: browser
Domain Controller setting: netlogon, llsrpc, browser, samr

6. Press OK, and then Restart your PC.

If all else fails, then open Elevated CMD (Win + X, Command Prompt (Administrator)), and type
 

slmgr.vbs -dlv

And paste the contents it returns here.
